Edmond Nassa’s wood sculptures combine a variety of found woods and objects into unique and organic forms. In his studio in Takoma Park, Maryland, he transforms his raw materials through sculptural traditions learned in France, Italy, and his home country, Burkina Faso. The result is evocative and intimate collision of tradition and innovation – an inspired metamorphosis of natural forms into sculpted expression.
